Zhan Xibao, also known as Penghao Ren, Chayan, etc., was born in Zongxing Town, Shou County, Anhui Province in November 1972. He graduated from the Chinese major at Anhui Normal University. Currently: Member of the Second Term of Shou County Literary and Art Federation, Councillor of Shou County Calligraphy Association, Full-time calligrapher appointed by Shouzhou Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Lu'an Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Lu'an Calligraphy Research Institute, Vice Chairman of Shou County Youth Calligraphy Association. Started learning calligraphy in 1990. More than one hundred works and essays have been published in professional newspapers and magazines such as "Calligraphy News", "Calligraphy Guidance", "Calligraphy Appreciation", "Xizhi Calligraphy News", "Youth Calligraphy News", "Youth Calligraphy", etc. His works have been introduced in columns in "Calligraphy News", "China Painting and Calligraphy News", "Wanxi Daily", "Huangshan Radio and Television News", etc. The article "A Brief Discussion on the Long Brush Stroke of Shimen Stele" was published in "Calligraphy News" and then reprinted by many media including "Guangming Daily".
