Personal Profile

Jiang Shitan, also known as Tiancheng, male, Han Chinese, born in May 1968, from Anqing, Anhui, has been interested in calligraphy and painting since childhood. He is currently a member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the Anqing Branch of the Anhui Hard-Pen Calligraphy Research Society, and an academician of the Wenzhou Jingxin Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. In 1987, he won the Outstanding Award in the First National Youth Hard-Pen Calligraphy Competition, and in 1988, he won the Second Prize in the First Youth Hard-Pen Calligraphy Competition of Anqing City, Anhui Province. His works of calligraphy and painting are often collected by international friends, and he is frequently invited to participate in large-scale public welfare and charity activities with his calligraphy and painting.
