Wu Chang'an, also known as Yunnihuangren, is from Dangshan County, Anhui. A disciple of Qi Baishi's later generation, he is currently the director of the China Hanmo Yuan Academy, a member of the China National Painter's Association, and an executive committee member of the National Famous Arts and Calligraphy Circles Federation. For decades, he has been diligent in his studies, persistently pursuing artistic excellence, learning from many master teachers, and receiving strict traditional painting technique training. He carefully observes and imitates, thoroughly studying and researching. He has grasped the subtleties of independent aesthetic appreciation of brushwork and ink. He has also traveled to famous mountains and rivers, experiencing real landscapes, learning from predecessors and nature, forming a personal style that is rigorous yet lively and unrestrained, and profound yet internally concentrated. Wu Chang'an's landscape paintings have participated in many large domestic exhibitions and have won awards. His works are frequently published in major newspapers, magazines, and are collected by art museums, libraries, and private collectors at home and abroad.
