Personal Profile

He Fa, pen name Gengfu, is from Lujiang, Hefei, Anhui. He graduated from Huangshan Art Academy in 1993, and from Guanghan Art School in 1998. He was included in "The Collection of Calligraphy and Painting Masterpieces of the Next Century" in 1999. In 2002, he was selected for "Star of the Century" and won the Golden Star Award. In 2003, he won the Excellent Award in the Second "Taibai Cup". In 2013, his oil portrait was included in "Thirty Years of Contemporary Art". In 2016, he won the second prize in the Fifth China Creative Design and Art Competition. In 2016, he won the Best Work Award in the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphy Competition. He is a member of the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphy Association and a painter at the Yanhuang Art Institute. He is the chairman of the Anhui Branch of the Chinese Sketching Association. He is a member of the Handan Art Association. He studied under Xu Chunjung, the tutor of Yanhuang Art, and Professor Zhai Xinjian from the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
