Personal Profile

Wu Wei, male, from Suzhou, Anhui, born in 1962, member of the Anhui Artists Association, specializes in freehand flower and bird painting. Mr. Wu has been passionate about painting since childhood, studied sketching and drawing during his middle school years, and later furthered his studies at Xuzhou Normal University. He started learning Chinese flower and bird painting from Ren Bonian, then successively studied under masters such as Wang Xue Tao, Pan Tianshou, Li Kuchan, and Sun Qifeng. Later, he traced back to ancient masters such as Badashanren and Lin Liang, pursuing a traditional style with ink effects and refined artistic taste.
