He Suran (original name He Su), National First-Class Artistic Professional, native of Anhui, the master of Suran Hall, Suran Gallery, Advanced Research Class of China Academy of Art, majoring in Art Design, an accomplished calligrapher and painter.
In August 2019, he was awarded the title of "Promoting Art · Virtuous and Artistic Excellence" Artist (published by multiple media, Baidu, Sohu, Phoenix, Toutiao, Baijia Hao, Tencent, Ten Thousand Art Network, etc.),
was honored with the title of "2019 National Annual Art Model Figure", and his paintings and calligraphy works have won many awards. Since childhood, he has been deeply interested in painting and calligraphy, born in a family of painters and calligraphers, and in the late 1990s, he was a disciple of the artist Cheng Ju, a member of Hangzhou Changjiang Painting and Calligraphy Academy,a member of Huaining Art Association, and a member of Huaining Fangtang Calligraphy Association.Vice President of China Academy of Art - Chuanmo De Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and a specially appointed painter of China Academy of Art Chuanmo De Painting and Calligraphy Academy. While adhering to the study of traditional painting, he emphasizes innovation and sketching from life, feeling nature, pouring emotions into painting and calligraphy. He often says, "It is not the painting that is painted, but the heart's emotion," giving soul to the mountains and rivers, gradually forming his own style. His brushwork is bold and elegant, combining strength with flexibility, the rocks are thick and solid, the colors are bright, the waterfalls and clouds flow naturally, giving people space for imagination, making one linger in the painting, reluctant to return to reality, thought-provoking, forgetting troubles. Even those who completely do not understand painting and calligraphy will feel it is excellent after seeing it.
