Zhai Xiwén, male, Han Chinese, born in October 1950, from Fuyang City, Anhui, has been deeply interested in calligraphy since childhood. He started with the regular script of Mr. Liu Bingsen, and focused on Han dynasty cursive script. For painting, he learned from the famous painter Wu Chuanping, and mainly studied ink painting. He has persistently practiced calligraphy and painting, studied the inscriptions and steles of masters through the ages, absorbing their essence, integrating ancient techniques with modern styles, and has never tired of it. He is currently a member of the Calligraphers Association of Golmud City, Qinghai Province, a member of the Chinese Senior Calligraphers and Painters Association, a director of the Shanghai Branch of the China National Calligraphers AssociationShanghai, a director of the Institute of Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting of the World Chinese Federation (Headquarters), a member of the Anhui Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, and vice chairman of the Anhui Branch of the China Online Calligraphy Alliance. He often participates in various calligraphy and painting activities and has won awards. He now resides in Hefei. His works are beloved by enthusiasts and collected by many collectors.
