Personal Profile

Dong Shuyuan, male, Han Chinese, born in February 1946, is a native of Wuhu, Anhui Province. Currently, he is: Academician of the China Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of the China National Painter's Association, member of the China Senior Art Research Association, member of the Anhui Provincial Artists Association, member of the Wuhu City Artists Association, member of the Wuhu City Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, academician of the Wuhu City Zhongshan Calligraphy and Painting Academy, standing committee member and vice secretary-general of the Wuhu County Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Association, first batch of signed painters of the China Network Television, and a national first-class art master. He was rated as one of the top 500 painters in China in 1998.
