Zhou Shuntao, female, master's degree, is currently a member of Anhui Provincial Artists Association, a director of Anhui Provincial Youth Artists Association, the vice secretary-general of Anhui Youth Artists Association Huainan Branch, a member of Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, a calligrapher and painter of Anhui Jianghuai Poetry and Painting Research Institute, a member of Huainan City Artists Association, a member of Huainan City Calligraphers Association, and a signed artist of Tao Art Mall.
She has been passionate about painting and calligraphy since childhood, skilled in traditional Chinese landscape painting and tigers. She emphasizes learning and innovating from tradition, and has studied at Anhui Provincial Calligraphy and Painting Creation Research Institute. Her style is bold, focusing on traditional brushwork. At the same time, she absorbs the strengths of various schools and masters throughout history. In terms of themes, concepts, and artistic conceptions of her works, she can combine tradition with modernity.
Her Chinese paintings and calligraphy works have won numerous awards in national, provincial, and municipal painting and calligraphy competitions. They have been published and reported by many newspapers and media, including "Anhui Legal System Daily", "Huainan Daily", "Huainan TV Station", "CNKI Space", and "China Rule of Law Network". In 2015, she was awarded the title of "Contemporary Art Master" by the organizing committee of the "Huangshan Cup" National Painting and Photography Competition. The same year, she was selected into the "Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Collection Yearbook". In 2016, she published "Selected Works of Zhou Shuntao's Chinese Painting"
The Chinese painting with the theme of red revolutionary "Monument" won the second prize in the 2011 China Electronics Group Cleanliness Painting and Calligraphy Competition and the third prize in the 2014 National "Secrecy Sentiment · Chinese Dream" Painting and Calligraphy Competition. The work "Dragon Soul" won the third prize in the 2012 Rule of Law Painting and Photography Competition. Her calligraphy work won the excellent award in the "Forging Major Equipment, Displaying the Style of Central Enterprises" Calligraphy Exhibition.
