Wang Deping

汪德平 男 1954年10月生，Anhui Taihu人。著名书法家。（Anqing Normal University College of Science and Technology Associate Professor）现为中国书法家协会会员、安徽省书法家协会三届理事，安徽省书法家协会楷书委员会委员、安徽省书法家协会书法教育委员会委员、安徽省教育厅书画协会副会长、安庆市书法家协会副主席、安庆名家书法院院长、安徽高校书法家协会常务理事、安徽大学客座教授、安徽工商职业学院客座教授。 Achievements and Honors Works have been selected for the 7th National Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition, the 8th National Youth Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition, the Second National Regular Script Exhibition, the 4th National Newcomers Calligraphy Exhibition, the Second National Fan Calligraphy Exhibition, the First Deng Shizhu Award National Calligraphy Exhibition, the National Calligraphy Exhibition Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Deng Xiaoping's Birth, the Contemporary Chinese Calligraphers' Exhibition in New York, USA, and other more than ten authoritative large exhibitions and have won awards. He has won the gold prize in the National Health Calligraphy Exhibition; the silver prize in the "Top 100 Calligraphers" Evaluation Exhibition; the bronze prize in the First National Teacher Calligraphy Exhibition; the excellent award in the Shengshi Cup International Calligraphy Art Exhibition; the second prize in the Huangdao Cup National Calligraphy Exhibition; the excellent work award in the First Anhui Calligraphy Exhibition of the New Century; the first prize in the Second Anhui Provincial Youth Calligraphy Exhibition; the first prize in the Anhui Education System Calligraphy Exhibition for four consecutive times. In 2016, he won the first Anqing Municipal Government Literary Arts Award. Since 2007, he has held individual calligraphy exhibitions in Anqing, Huangshan, Shenzhen, Bozhou and other places. His works have been exhibited multiple times in France, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, some of which are collected by art museums at home and abroad. In 2012, he was invited to Japan for calligraphy exchange. The authoritative professional newspaper "Calligraphy News" has given a special edition introduction to his calligraphy achievements. He has published many papers on calligraphy, and his brief biography is included in many encyclopedias such as "Dictionary of Contemporary Calligraphers". He has published many calligraphy monographs, mainly including: "Practical Regular Script Tutorial", "Wang Deping's Small Regular Script", "Wang Deping's Calligraphy Art", "Writing for Middle School Students", "Model Writing Exercise Books for Words and Phrases in Chinese Language for Junior High School", "Calligraphy Appreciation", "Wang Deping's Ballpoint Pen Calligraphy", etc. He has participated in the compilation of the "Writing" textbook for the nine-year compulsory education in Anhui three times consecutively and also for university textbooks, and he is the writer of all the model characters in the textbooks.
