Gui Haiyan: Male, born in 1957. Grew up at the source of Wanhe River, under the Duxiu Mountain. This place gave birth to the "Sage of Calligraphy" Deng Shiru, and Deng Jiaxuan, who contributed to the "Two Bombs and One Satellite". It is also the hometown of Cheng Changgeng, the ancestor of Chinese opera---Anqing*Shipai

In 1992, he studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, one of the founders of the new sketching at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His mentors included Gao Zongying, a student of Xu Beihong.
