Mr. Jie Fuqiang's calligraphy can absorb the spirit of all things, understand the dharma, and integrate the creation and fortune of the universe. "There is no object in the world that is not calligraphy, there is no object in the world that is not cursive script." Mr. Jie Fuqiang's calligraphy is the result of years of observation and reflection on the world. It is a calm thinking about human feelings and the beauty and sorrow of life, thus achieving the realm of unity between heaven and man, and the sudden stroke of inspiration. Because of his unique experience, he has formed his own unique artistic aesthetic standards. His works often stand out uniquely, with distinct local characteristics and forming his own school. Mr. Jie Fuqiang's calligraphy creation has a strong "freehand" characteristic. In calligraphy creation, it emphasizes "expressing feelings" and "smooth hands and mind", using "calligraphic meaning" brushstrokes to express "poetic" realms. Regarding this, ancient people have already discussed it. Sun Guoting of the Tang Dynasty proposed in "The Book of Calligraphy" that calligraphy creation should "express one's character and reflect joy and sorrow"; Zhang Huaijuan, another calligraphy theorist of the Tang Dynasty, proposed the view that "those who deeply understand calligraphy only observe the spirit and do not see the shape of the characters"; Su Shi of the Song Dynasty proposed the five elements of calligraphy: bone, muscle, blood, qi, and spirit; ancient people once said when discussing calligraphy: "Before the brush reaches, the spirit has already swallowed it; after the brush reaches, the spirit remains unfinished"; and Liu Xizai of the Qing Dynasty proposed in "Yi Gai Shu Gai" the view that "calligraphy should reach naturalness," all of which affirm and emphasize the freehand nature of calligraphy. Mr. Jie Fuqiang's calligraphy is rooted in the inscriptions of bronze and stone, and he is proficient in various styles. His regular script draws from the Jin and Tang Dynasties, while his running and cursive scripts integrate the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Through repeated contemplation and selection, he has gradually formed his unique brushwork language, expressing his inner nature, and fully interpreting the essence of traditional Chinese calligraphy aesthetics, vividly presenting the elegance and depth of Confucianism, and the natural and free-spirited nature of Zen to us. At the age of five, he could skillfully master the techniques of clerical and regular script writing, and was known as a calligraphy prodigy at that time. During his primary school, junior high school, senior high school, and university studies, he always worked in the publicity department, and won numerous awards in calligraphy competitions. He often practiced copying the Ouyang style, Yan style, and Mao style. He has a certain level of mastery in regular script, running regular script, running cursive script, and Mao style. Chinese calligraphy is profound and extensive, and the study has no end. He will devote his whole life to researching, studying, and promoting Chinese calligraphy, and strive to uncover the essence of Chinese calligraphy.
