Zhou Xinping, male, also known as Zhou Xinping, Han ethnicity, from Bozhou City, Anhui Province, university education, born in February 1957.          Currently a member of the China Association for the Study of Senior Citizens' Calligraphy and Painting; member of the Beijing Hualian Calligraphy and Painting Academy; member of the Anhui Senior Citizens' Calligraphy and Painting Friendship Association.         I have been passionate about calligraphy since childhood, especially skilled in running and cursive scripts. Under the guidance of master teachers, I have diligently studied copies of ancient calligraphy, learning regular script from Yan Zhenqing and Liu Gongquan; studying running and cursive scripts from Wang Xizhi, Huaisu, and Zhang Xu. I often study classic Chinese literature, and am proficient in Tang and Song poetry. My works have won awards in national calligraphy exhibitions. In 2005, my work was selected into the "Second Ouyang Xun Award National Calligraphy Competition Work Collection" and was awarded the title of "Outstanding Talent in Calligraphy Art with Virtue and Artistry." Another work was selected into the "Fu Lu Shou Xi - Plum, Orchid, Bamboo, and Chrysanthemum" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition Work Collection, and was awarded the title of "Master of Calligraphy and Painting Art." In 2006, I participated in the Jin Ding Award National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, and was awarded the title of "Excellent Achievements in the National Calligraphy and Painting Field." Many of my works have been collected by various academies, museums, and celebrities across the country.
