Chu Shuangxi, male, born in 1955, is a native of Bengbu City, Anhui Province. A person from Huashang Village, the master of Jingyou Pavilion, with the pen name Xiaoshi.

Currently a member of:
Bengbu Calligraphy Association;
Academician of the Jianghuai Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute of Anhui Province

Member of the Bengbu Hard Pen Calligraphers Association;
Member of the Bengbu Senior Citizens' Painting and Calligraphy Research Association.

Influenced by family tradition, he has had an inseparable relationship with calligraphy since childhood, starting with tracing red characters. He has studied extensively the ancient masters such as Liu Gongquan, Yan Zhenqing, Zhao Mengfu, Wang Xizhi, Zhong Yao, Suojing, and Song Ke, copying their steles and scrolls. He has explored various styles including seal script, regular script, cursive script, Han clerical script, and regulated cursive script. He has won much praise in many provincial and municipal calligraphy competitions. The road ahead is long, and I will seek tirelessly. The path of painting and calligraphy is still long, and I must continue to strive and explore bravely.
