Guo Jianjun was born in Hefei, Anhui in 1957.
Chinese culture has a long history, and the unique calligraphy art of China stands out in the world art. There have been countless masters: Li Si, Li Yangbing, Wang Xizhi, Huaisu, Zhang Xu, Zhao Mengfu, Deng Shiru, Wu Changshuo, Mao Zedong, etc. They have achieved great success in their calligraphy, shining like stars, dazzling the world, and inspiring countless calligraphy enthusiasts to follow, generation after generation.
Mr. Guo Jianjunis passionate about Chinese calligraphy. From his youth, he has diligently practiced and studied, learning from these great calligraphers, and has long been engaged in copying the "San Shi Pan", "Mao Gong Ding", and "Da Yu Ding". He often travels through the famous mountains and rivers of the motherland, and studies the famous stele forests. His small seal script works are modeled on Si, Bing, and Deng Shiru, and have developed a style that is uniquely his own. "Chinese calligraphy emphasizes rules and regulations." He does not seek fame or wealth, nor does he pursue vanity, but with a rigorous learning attitude, he draws the essence from the calligraphy of various dynasties, integrating them into one, and has achieved remarkable artistic accomplishments, especially in large and small seal scripts. He enjoys creating large-scale and lengthy seal script works, and has won awards multiple times in national painting and calligraphy competitions. His works such as "The Diamond Sutra", "The Analects", "The Yellow Crane Tower", "The Classic of Tea", "The Luo Shen Fu", and "Mao Zedong's Poetry Collection" have been collected by some groups and individuals in society.
