Zhang Youyue. Anhui Jinzhai native, alias Dashibian Hermit. In 1998, he left his pen and took up military service, graduated from the calligraphy major of Nanjing University of Arts, and is now the director of Molin Painting and Calligraphy Academy, a national first-class art worker, member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, vice president of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, vice president of the Nanjing Military Region Calligraphy Research Institute, and standing member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association.
   Systematically studied calligraphy theory, diligently practiced the stone steles and scrolls of famous masters such as "Wang Xizhi" and Mi Fu, and his calligraphy works pursue rigorous brushwork, emphasizing the enlightenment of art and the perfect unity of creation. His works have won the gold prize in the calligraphy group of the "Xi'an Incident" 70th anniversary Chinese painting and calligraphy grand exhibition; the excellence award in the second "Xibiquan Cup" national painting and calligraphy invitation competition, and have won the gold prize in the first "Red Army Cup" calligraphy exhibition of the entire army, the gold prize in the calligraphy exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the army. His paintings and calligraphy works have been exhibited both inside and outside the military in the China Military Museum, Nanjing Museum, United Nations headquarters, Japan, South Korea, etc. He has participated in more than 100 national-level painting and calligraphy competitions and has won awards many times. He has been awarded merit multiple times in the army. His works are included in "Excellence Collection of Calligraphy Works for the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Army", "Xibiquan Painting and Calligraphy Excellence Collection", "Calligraphy Excellence Selection for the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Army", etc. In 2016, he was awarded the honorary title of "Century Artist Monument Award". His artistic achievements are included in many compendiums such as "Biographies of Century Artists". His works are collected by domestic and foreign institutions and individuals such as the Diaoyutai State Guest House, the China National Museum, and the Nanjing Museum.
