Personal Profile

Xie Guofu, Han Chinese, was born in 1969 in Jieshou City, Anhui Province. He graduated from the Huangshan Painting Academy in 1993 and completed his studies at the China Academy of Painting and Calligraphy via correspondence in 1998.

He has been engaged in art design work for many years, skilled in freehand flower-and-bird painting and landscape painting. His works integrate calligraphy into painting, with a refined and elegant style, grand composition, and learning from ancient masters without being bound by them.

Personal Honors
His works have been selected in "Selected Works of Contemporary Calligraphers and Painters" and "Collection of Works by Contemporary Famous Calligraphers and Painters", winning the Silver Award.
Bronze Award in the "97 Hong Kong Return Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition Competition".
The work "Night in Yili Kazakh" won the Third Prize in the National Ethnic Unity Exhibition of Famous Artists sponsored by Yili Automotive City, and was collected by collectors from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Guangdong, and the Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture Government.
