Personal Profile

Wei Wenji, male, was born in October 1971. He enlisted in the military in March 1990 and was transferred to civilian life in August 1998. He graduated successively from the Xi'an Institute of Communications of the People's Liberation Army, Chongqing Institute of Communications, and the Calligraphy Major of China Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University, and completed training at the Training Center of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, holding a bachelor's degree. He is a member of the Sichuan Province Calligraphers Association, a member of the Beilan Pavilion Calligraphy Friends Association, and Vice Chairman of the Dachuan District Calligraphers Association in Dazhou City. His calligraphy works have won the First Prize at the Five-Year Anniversary Exhibition of Calligraphy and Fine Arts of the China Calligraphy Correspondence University, an Excellent Award at the National Urban Construction Inspection System Calligraphy, Fine Arts, and Photography Exhibition, and the First Prize in Calligraphy at the Chongqing "Campus Spring" College Student Art Festival. His works have been exhibited in the Fifth and Sixth Sichuan Provincial Exhibitions of New Artists and New Works, and the Second Sichuan Provincial Exhibition of Copying Ancient Calligraphy and Seals. His calligraphy works have been republished by multiple media outlets including People's Daily Online, Xinhua Net, NetEase,Sohu, Baidu Baijia, China Calligraphers Forum, Phoenix News, Jinri Toutiao, Yidian Zixun, Dayu Hao UC Headline, and TianTian KuaiBao.
