Personal Profile

Sun Xiaodong, master of Yuxuan Studio, also known as Shu Zhong Jushi. Born in 1981 in Sichuan Dazhou. He has been passionate about calligraphy, painting, and poetry since childhood, studying under the renowned artist Zhu Rimang (master of Shannu Painting House, specially commissioned painter of the China Artists Association), and later learning from Mr. Ni Jinxing (Council Member of the China Calligraphers Association, Vice Chairman of the Central Organs Calligraphers Association, and tutor at Tsinghua University’s Advanced Research Program).He is currently a lifetime member and specially commissioned artist of the Jiangxi Institute of Humanities Calligraphy and Painting. A contemporary Chinese realist artist. Member of the Zhejiang Province Wenzhou Alliance of Migrant Calligraphers and Painters, Academician of the Wenzhou Ou-style Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute, among others. His works have won awards and been exhibited in numerous provincial and municipal calligraphy and painting exhibitions across the country, and have been permanently collected. His works have been featured and published in publications such as China Calligraphy and Painting Daily, Jiangxi Fine Arts Daily, Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters, and on Jiangxi TV and other new media platforms. Currently residing in Wenzhou, he devotes himself to the creation and teaching of calligraphy and painting art, striving to promote and carry forward traditional Chinese culture.
