Jiang Dongning, male, born on July 16, 1968, from Liangbanqiao, Anyue County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province, currently residing in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. With a wide range of interests, he has been deeply influenced by his elders since childhood and developed a passion for calligraphy, frequently practicing the styles of renowned masters throughout history. In 1987, he won the Outstanding Award in the Ballpoint Pen Category of the National "Civilization Cup" Calligraphy Competition. He has persistently studied calligraphy with unwavering dedication. In October 2017, he stood out in the "Great Nation Culture — Fourth Calligraphy and Painting Competition" and was awarded the Gold Prize, being honored with the title of "Hua Xia Art Master." In November 2017, he won the Second Prize in the "Zhang Zeduan Cup" Online Calligraphy Competition; in January 2018, he ranked seventh in the "Cultural Power Network Calligraphy Competition"; in January 2018, he received the Third Prize in the "Belt and Road" Online Calligraphy Competition, with some of his works selected for inclusion in the limited-edition collectible postage stamp album of the Belt and Road Initiative. In May 2018, his entry in the "Hanmo Dangdai — Seventh China Calligraphy Competition" won the "Third Prize," and he was appointed as a Council Member of the Huagang Calligraphy and Painting Cultural Research Institute; in July 2018, during the "Third Lanting Micro-Exhibition," his work garnered significant attention and earned the Third Prize; in July 2018, some of his works were included in the limited-edition collectible Chinese postage stamp album "New Era, New Silk Road," officially published domestically and internationally.He has repeatedly donated calligraphy works to charitable organizations and social groups, and has freely gifted countless calligraphy pieces to calligraphy enthusiasts across the country.
