Xiang Yulin, originally named Xiang Ping, styled Youxian, art name San Yue Shanren, Western Sichuan Hermit, born in 1986, from Nanba Town, Xuanhan County, Sichuan Province, council member of the Nanba Calligraphy and Painting Association, member of the Xuanhan Youth Calligraphy and Painting AssociationSince childhood, influenced by his father, he developed a fondness for writing and painting; early on, he studied Ming and Qing dynasty ceramic painting, and after adulthood, he learned painting techniques from the Song and Yuan dynasties. His works are primarily executed in the double-outline method, blending semi-figurative with semi-ink-wash styles, specializing in landscapes, flowers and birds, figures, and fish and insects.His work "Ren De Xiang He" won a bronze award at the 5th National Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Competition of the Chinese Dream, and he has been recognized as one of the most promising folk artists.
