Personal Profile
Yang Zhiying, male, born in 1984 in Huzhu, Qinghai—the renowned "Land of the Tu Ethnic Group" and "City of Fragrant Barley Wine"! Style name: Xinxin, Art name: Shande Shanlang, currently residing in Xining! Since childhood, he has been deeply passionate about the traditions and essence of Chinese calligraphy and painting, as well as the mystique of Yellow River odd stones. He has tirelessly studied and researched the techniques and literary styles of ancient masters from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, as well as modern Chinese calligraphy and painting, under the guidance of Master Liu, a renowned Chinese calligrapher. He is also a direct disciple of Mr. Yu Ziqian, a national-level first-class artist and permanent professor at the Central Calligraphy and Painting Channel. He received instruction from Professor Liu of Tsinghua University, and was profoundly influenced by Mr. Li Jiongzhu, Vice Chairman of the China Calligraphers Association and Qinghai Calligraphers Association, as well as Mr. Xie Quan and other masters. Through continuous learning and guidance from these eminent artists, he has greatly benefited and developed a distinctive personal style, absorbing the strengths of many schools. His peonies exude elegance and grandeur, their forms graceful and varied, fresh, bold, and freely expressive, with ever-changing, splendid colors; his mountains and rocks radiate majestic power, and his flowing water brings vitality and prosperity!! His works have been exhibited numerous times at provincial and national calligraphy and painting exhibitions and commercial events, earning various honors!
In 2006, he participated in the Lanzhou Qianlima Home Electronics Business Exhibition, where his work "Goldfish Accompanied by Lotus" won the Third Prize!
At the end of 2007, he participated in the Feilong Home Appliances Group Western Conference, where his work "Peony Charm" won the First Prize!
In 2008, he participated in the Xining Small Commodities City donation event for the Wenchuan earthquake-stricken areas!
In 2009, he participated in the Qinghai-Tibet Home Electronics Annual Summary Conference, where his work "Heaven Rewards Diligence, Business Rewards Sincerity" received an award and was widely collected by enthusiasts!
In 2010, he participated in the Guangzhou International Pazhou Art Exhibition and Trade Fair!
In 2013, he participated in the Ideal Cup Far East Hotel Business Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition and won the Fine Work Award!
In 2014, he received an Outstanding Award at the Xining City Individual Business Association Friendship League Cup!
In 2015, he participated in the China–Qinghai Halal International Food Festival Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, where his work "Ningsi Jingde" was selected for exhibition!
In summer 2016, he participated in the Shaanxi–Qinghai Xiling Seal Society Seal Carving Activity!
In July 2016, he participated in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China; his works "Always Smiling," "Watermelon," and "Pomegranate" were warmly received and collected by enthusiasts!
In August 2016, he participated in the National First "Chaidamu Cup" Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, exhibiting his seal script character "De" and the painting "National Beauty and Heavenly Fragrance"!
In September 2016, he participated in the 18-province Shaanxi–Qinghai Masters Art and Love Transmission Exchange Meeting; that same month, he also participated in the Qinghai Yunfeng Calligraphy and Painting Research Center’s celebration of Mid-Autumn and National Day festivals, where his work "Great Fortune" was exhibited!
In 2016, to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the Long March of the Red Army at Qinghai’s First Art Festival, his ink paintings "National Beauty and Heavenly Fragrance," "Qinghai湟Fish," "Shepherd Boy Returning Home," and "Peony Charm" were exhibited and won an Outstanding Award!
