Personal Profile

Hu Qiuping, originally from Yingcheng, Hubei, was born in 1962 in Kaifeng, Henan. Researcher at the China National Academy of Painting, first-class national artist. Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, member of the Cursive Script Committee of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, professor at the Calligraphy Training Center of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, visiting professor at the Peking University Institute of Calligraphy Art. Member of the Chinese Poetry Society, vice president of the Henan Poetry Society. Visiting professor at Zhengzhou University and Henan University.
