Chen Daimu, art name: Ye Sheng, born in 1948, Han ethnicity, with a college diploma, native place: Wenfeng Community, Zengdu District, Suizhou City, Hubei Province. Currently a council member of the Hubei Province Suizhou City Zengdu District Art Association, member of the China Art Society, member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, academician of the Beijing Huaxia Lanting Calligraphy and Painting Academy, deputy chief editor of the Beijing Juntian Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of the Ink and Wash Shanqing Calligraphy and Painting Academy of CCTV Education Channel, member of the Beijing Calligraphy and Painting Ten Thousand Mile Journey Academy, vice president of the Hong Kong Chaoqi Wuzhou Calligraphy and Painting Academy, vice president of the Shenzhen Yipinge Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Since childhood, he has been deeply influenced by his ancestors and developed a keen love for calligraphy and painting, frequently copying their calligraphy models (his ancestors were late Qing Dynasty xiuchai). During his youth and middle school years, he copied the styles of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi, Su Shi, Ouyang Xun, and others. In fine arts, he studied the techniques of Qi Baishi and modern artists such as Ling Xue and Zeng Gang. He has now developed his own independent style and technique. His works have won gold and silver awards in exhibitions in Beijing, Dalian, Lushan, and have been selected and exhibited in art shows in Wuhan, Shenzhen, Kaifeng, and other places. His works are highly praised and collected by calligraphy and painting enthusiasts in Guangdong Province, Shenzhen, Wuhan City and Suizhou City, Xiangyang City in Hubei Province, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, as well as in the United States, Thailand, Singapore, and other countries and regions.
