Hu Kangmei, Vice Chairman of the China Calligraphers Association, Director of the Cursive Script Professional Committee of the China Calligraphers Association, Master's and Doctoral Supervisor at the China Academy of Art, Researcher at the China Calligraphy Academy, Deputy Director of the Calligraphy and Seal Carving Institute at the China National Academy of Painting, and Vice Chairman of the Central Organs Calligraphy Association. He has devoted himself to studying the running and cursive scripts of Mi Fu and Wang Duo, thereby establishing a distinctive "Mi (Fu)-Wang (Duo)" style. His cursive script begins with the early Han dynasty cursive phenomena, deeply comprehending classical cursive works from the Han, Jin, and Qing dynasties, with his Mi and Wang styles being particularly prominent.
