Xu Jianji graduated with a bachelor’s degree. He is a member of the Hubei Writers Association, Wuhan Writers Association, Hubei Essayists Association, Hubei Photographers Association, Wuhan Calligraphers Association, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Hot Spring Branch of the Hubei Tourism Association, as well as Vice President of the Wuhan Yanhuang Culture Calligraphy and Painting Institute. He has published three reportage literature works: “No Longer Silent,” “Sighs Behind Tearful Eyes,” and “Roses Behind the Old House” (co-authored). He inscribed the plaques “Hegao Pavilion,” “Hesong Pavilion,” and “Heyun Pavilion” for three hotels at the National 4A scenic spot Bao Dao Feng; he also wrote couplets and plaques for the Mulan Temple and Yuehong Pavilion at the National 5A scenic spot Mulan Tianchi. In December 2011, he received the award “Top Tourism Planning Figure in China” from the “China City First Media Tourism Alliance,” a consortium of 24 mainstream media outlets, an award regarded as the “Oscar” of China’s tourism industry. Additionally, in the “Wuhan Marketing Golden Peak Award” selection event, initiated by the Yangtze River Daily and jointly hosted by the Wuhan Enterprise Federation, Wuhan Chamber of Commerce, and Domi International Marketing Consulting Group, with the Yangtze River Daily Communication Research Institute as the organizer, his planned event “Grand Singing of Red Songs at Mulan Tianchi” won the “Most Influential Marketing Case Award”; his campaign “Jiafei Shanhu Hot Spring Resolves the ‘Two Qiaos’ Hometown Dispute” received the “Most Communicative Marketing Case Award”; and his initiative of establishing a “Self-Service Kitchen” at Luotian Bao Dao Feng was awarded the “Most Creative Marketing Case Award.”
