Personal Profile

Jiang Wenwei, pen name "Qi Ren," was born in 1958 in Yunhe, Zhejiang, and is originally from Huaiyin, Jiangsu. He currently works in Qichun County, Hubei. Since childhood, he has had a deep passion for painting and diligently studied painting techniques, copying works by numerous renowned artists. In recent years, he has developed a particular fondness for colored ink landscape painting, copying the landscapes of teachers such as Huang Xiaozhou. His works have won multiple awards within his system and received the first prize in the painting category of the Provincial Radio & Television Network Calligraphy, Painting, and Photography Competition. Especially after studying under Master Zeng Gang in colored ink landscape painting, his artistic skills have significantly improved. He is currently a member of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Alliance, Secretary-General of the Huagang Calligraphy and Painting Culture Research Institute, Honorary President of the China Calligraphy and Painting Culture Association, and a council member of the Hubei Qichun Art Association.
