Personal Profile

Teacher Li Xinggui is multi-talented and known in the calligraphy and painting world as the "Miraculous Master of Calligraphy and Painting." He excels in ink landscape painting with a unique realistic and poetic style. His works of flowers, birds, figures, and animals are vividly lifelike, rich in philosophy, infused with humor and subtle satire, standing out uniquely. Teacher Li's calligraphy style is distinctive, profound, and deeply engraved, innovative and unconventional. His calligraphy and painting works have won multiple gold awards in national competitions for renowned artists, and he has been awarded the titles of First-Class Fine Artist and First-Class Calligrapher by the China Calligraphy and Painting Professional Title Evaluation Center. Teacher Li Xinggui currently serves as Principal of the Jinshan Hanmo Calligraphy and Painting Professional Training School in Yichang and Vice President of the Landscape Painting Research Institute at the China National Academy of Painting. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, he was separately interviewed and featured on special segments by CCTV, Hubei TV, and Yichang TV, which were broadcasted. Over a thousand of his calligraphy and traditional Chinese painting works have been collected by renowned individuals and enthusiasts both domestically and internationally.
