Xia Chengjie

Personal Profile

Xia Chengjie, born in 1958, is a native of Wuhan City, Hubei Province. He graduated with a Master's degree in Business Administration from Wuhan University and is a landscape painter, as well as a second-generation disciple of Li Keran. During his youth, he developed a passion for traditional Chinese culture and painting art under the influence of his father-in-law. He also studied under Teacher Li Xianlong, a landscape painter from the Ministry of Culture. Under the artistic guidance of renowned painters and calligraphers such as Teacher Zhang Zhi from Hubei Provincial Traditional Chinese Painting Academy, master landscape painter Teacher Lu Yonghuan, Teacher Yu Qunyi from Jisheng Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and Teacher Li Xianpin, Deputy Secretary-General of Hubei Calligraphers Association, he has formed his unique painting style. Currently, he serves as the Art Director of Wuhan Grammy Culture Media Co., Ltd. and the Vice President of Jingchu Chinese Ink Painting Academy. His landscape paintings have been collected by many entrepreneurs and collectors on numerous occasions. He is enthusiastic about public welfare undertakings, adhering to the principle of "virtue carries all things" to pursue everlasting artistic vitality, and was admitted to the Calligraphers and Painters Encyclopedia in September 2019.
