Personal Profile

Xu Chaoyong, male, from Qianjiang, Hubei Province, has loved calligraphy since childhood, primarily studying Tang dynasty regular script, while also learning running and cursive scripts of Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi, Zhao Mengfu, Mi Fu, and others. In April 2020, he won the "Outstanding Award" in the Tian Xuesong Calligraphy and Painting Academy's "Brush Blooms Cup" public welfare calligraphy and painting competition for fighting the pandemic. In May, he received the "Shortlisted Award" in the 12th China Excellent Calligraphy Regular and Running Script Creation Competition, as well as the "Selection Award" in the "Global Fight Against the Pandemic – Eastern Prosperity Cup 2020 Online Public Welfare Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition," and the "Selection Award" in the "Seize the Day, Live Up to Youth – National Online Calligraphy Exhibition for Youth Day."
