Artistic Introduction

 

       Zhan Yuanlong, born in 1957 in Shangcheng County, Henan Province. Member of the World Society of Han Poetry, Director of the Chinese Literati Calligraphy Association, Member of the Chinese Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association, Member of the Henan Provincial Calligraphers Association.

       His works and biography have been included in the People's Pictorial's "30 Years of Splendor," the Commemoration of the 2285th Anniversary of Qu Yuan's Death, the Commemoration of the 2560th Anniversary of Confucius' Birth, the Yueyang Tower Cup, and anthologies such as "Masterpieces of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting" and "The Great Canon of Chinese Ink Treasures," and he has been invited to inscribe commemorative works for the "Shanghai Expo," "Tiangong-1," the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and the 50th Anniversary of Sino-French Diplomatic Relations. His works were also broadcast during the Fourth Calligraphy Channel's Spring Festival Art Exhibition. Relevant works are permanently collected by the Guanyin Mountain in Dongguan, China, and the Nanhai Zen Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in Asia. Mainstream media such as "Jin Cankao," "Henan Economic Daily," and "Youth Digest" have reported and promoted his achievements. His works and biography will also be published in "Chinese Famous Sayings" and "Selected Masterful Sayings of Outstanding Communist Party Members in the New Era." His artistic accomplishments have been included in the "Dictionary of Influential Figures in Chinese Calligraphy and Art" and recorded in the "Dictionary of Artists of the People's Republic of China" and the "National Biographical Archives."
