      Wang Yuxing, style name Kaiyan, art name Sanman Jushi, master of Gengyun Studio, holds a university degree and is a member of the Communist Party of China. Born on March 13, 1964, he is from Baisa Town, East District of Zhengzhou, Henan Province. He graduated from the Henan Calligraphy Correspondence Training Class in 1988 and the Advanced Research Class in 1989. He studied under masters Liu Guangyan and Song Huaping. He is currently a committee member of the National Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Art Federation, a member of the China Calligraphers Association, a researcher at the Chinese Cultural Art Research Institute, vice secretary-general of the China Wang Family Calligraphy and Painting Academy, vice secretary-general of the China Calligraphy and Painting Association, vice secretary-general of the Zhengdong New Area Liaison Office, vice secretary-general of the China Aisin Gioro Fu Jie Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a member of the Henan Calligraphers Association, a council member of the Henan Calligraphy and Poetry Association, and a member of the Henan Poetry Society. Winner of the Wenshu Jue Calligraphy Championship, and president of the Henan Chenyang Calligraphy and Painting Academy.

Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy and painting, proficient in regular, cursive, clerical, seal, and running scripts, with particular expertise in running and cursive styles. He follows the styles of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi, and has diligently studied the works of Yan Zhenqing, Zhao Mengfu, Mi Fu, and Wang Duo. His work combines solid traditional foundations with a contemporary spirit, pursuing tranquility and freedom within tradition, experimenting with compositional spacing, rhythmic flow, and ingenious creativity. His works are ancient, serene, and elegant, possessing high collection value and establishing him as one of the most promising calligraphers of his generation.

His calligraphy and painting works have won numerous awards in national and provincial competitions and have been published in such volumes as “Chinese Ink and Brush: Masterpieces of the Ages,” “Chinese Couplets Yearbook,” “Chinese Twelve Zodiac Cultural Artists Encyclopedia,” “Calligraphers and Painters,” “Calligraphers,” “Chinese Poetry,” “Poetry Anthology,” “National Treasures Archive,” and others. Some of his works have been collected by the China Cultural Art Museum, China Fine Art Collection, and China Geological Cultural Museum.

He has published books including “Spring Warms Baisa,” “Splendid Ink and Color,” and “Collection of Wang Yuxing’s Calligraphy and Painting Works.”
