Bai Gen, born in 1964 in Inner Mongolia, graduated from the Advanced Research Class at Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, a National First-Class Artist, member of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Painting and Calligraphy Art Committee, and a student of Master Zeng Gang and Master Shi Yunxiang. Bai Gen has been passionate about painting throughout his life, integrating life into nature and consistently practicing plein-air sketching, traveling extensively across China's famous mountains and rivers. He combines traditional brushwork and ink with modern realism, creating vivid and powerful imagery! The rocks are solid and firm, the trees vigorous and robust, the rapids churn with waves, and the clouds drift dynamically—infused with a sense of everyday life. He also explores color, maintaining artistic discipline, striving to harmonize color with ink wash, achieving a cohesive and dynamic composition that is both realistic and lively!
