Chen Jianmin, styled Shouren, studio name Tianyi Studio, Han Chinese, born in 1962, has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood. Member of the China Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association, Membership Number: zy2021051884.Xinjiang Changji Art Special Talent Level Evaluation Calligraphy Committee Expert and Calligraphy Evaluator.
Many years ago, he became a disciple of Master Tian Yingzhang, thereafter dedicating himself wholeheartedly to the study of calligraphy, beginning his learning with the stele of Ouyang Xun and continuing under the guidance of Tian Yingzhang. The artistic merit of a calligraphy or painting work, along with the ideas and sentiments it conveys, are the primary factors in evaluating its value. True art should touch the soul, and true artists should express the truth, goodness, and beauty of the world through their hearts and brushwork, promoting a positive and enterprising spirit, rather than merely catering to the market. In today’s society, people need high-quality, high-level artistic works rich in intellectual depth and cultural heritage.
