Xu Xianting

Xu Xianting, styled Xiaoguang, is the owner of Danyi Studio. Born in 1953, his ancestral home is Luoyang, Henan Province. He graduated from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts and completed advanced studies at the Flower-and-Bird Painting Advanced Research Class of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. He studied under Professors Qi Guang, Jia Baomin, and Yan Quan. Currently, he is a member of China Art & Craft Association, a first-class fine artist, the president of Haikou Xiaoguang Calligraphy and Painting Academy, the vice director of Sanya Blue Sky and White Clouds Art Museum, the president of Jiangdu Academy of Fine Arts Hainan Branch, a senior consultant of Singapore New Shenzhou Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a calligraphy and painting appraiser of International Education and Cultural Exchange Academy of Korea; a lifetime honorary professor of Hong Kong International Wang Xizhi Calligraphy and Painting Academy; an invited painter of National Defense University of People's Liberation Army; a guest professor of China Humanities University, and a council member of the Fine Arts Teacher Committee of the China Art Education Promotion Association.
