Li Guixi, male, born in 1967, joined the military in 1984 and transferred to civilian service in 2014. He is currently employed by the Anyang Municipal Forestry Bureau and is a member of the Henan Calligraphers Association and the China Oracle Bone Script Calligraphy Art Research Society. Li has been passionate about calligraphy since childhood and has persisted in his practice for decades, excelling particularly in running script and clerical script. His running script follows the tradition of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi, incorporating the spontaneous brushwork of bamboo and silk manuscripts while integrating the rustic charm of bronze and stone inscriptions. His works are expansive and majestic, with rhythmic flow, rigorous structure, and broad appeal. His works have been widely collected by overseas Chinese and international friends and have been exhibited in renowned invited exhibitions of domestic and foreign artists, including the Commemorative Exhibition of Public Servants' Calligraphy and Painting on the 30th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up, and the Chongyang Chunhui Calligraphy Exhibition hosted by the Museum of Chinese Characters.
