Zhang Yuwei

Zhang Yuwei, female, was born in February 1950 in Huanren, Liaoning. She is a member of the Chinese Poetry Society, Heilongjiang Province Poetry Association, and Heilongjiang Province Writers Association; Honorary Director of the Heilongjiang Province Couplets Association; Vice President of the Suihua City Poetry Society; Deputy Chief Editor of Sai Bei Shi Sheng; and Consultant of the Liaoning Yuling Poetry Society. She began composing poetry in the 1980s, with her works appearing in publications such as Contemporary Poetry, Chinese Poetry, Changbai Mountain Poetry, Jilin Daily, Heilongjiang Daily, and Anhui Elderly Newspaper; her works have been included in anthologies such as Jin Bang Ji and Huaxia Yin You; some of her works have won awards in competitions such as "Century Praise," "The Moon Is Brightest in My Hometown," and "Heilongjiang Cup." Her biography is recorded in dictionaries such as The Great Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Poets' Art and The Great Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Coupletists' Art.
