Wang Longfei, pen name Mo Ze, also known as Huangshan Mountain Man, a successor of the Qi School, and a National First-Class Artist. Born in 1970 in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, he currently resides in Beijing. He is a member of the Art Creation Center of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Deputy Director of the Ink and Wash Danqing Academy of China Education Television, Council Member of Jinwang Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Member of the Heilongjiang Provincial Artists Association, Member of the Harbin City Artists Association, Vice President of the Northern Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and a professional painter at the Beijing Tonghan Art Museum. He specializes in traditional Chinese landscape painting, and also excels in freehand brushwork flower-and-bird paintings and meticulous brushwork styles, and has received the Certificate of Art Value and Fee Standards from the People's Republic of China.
He has long studied under the renowned ice-and-snow painter Mr. Gao Fengde. His personal achievements were featured on Heilongjiang News Channel, and his landscape scroll "Thousand Peaks in Competition" was published in the Heilongjiang Daily. Since 2000, he has successfully held solo exhibitions in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Russia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other countries and regions. His works have been published or collected by numerous newspapers and magazines. His ink paintings are highly appreciated by art circles and collectors, and have won multiple awards. In 2000, he won the Second Prize in the inaugural "Jin Sui Cup" Painting and Calligraphy Competition;
In 2014, he won the First Prize in the inaugural "Tong Zhen Cup" Painting and Calligraphy Competition;
In 2015, he won the Silver Award in the "Love My China" Jinyu Cup National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition;
In September 2016, he was invited again to Russia to participate in the International Exhibition of Plastic Arts commemorating the 71st Anniversary of Victory in WWII, and also took part in the international exhibition "Handshake" hosted by the Russian Artists Association, receiving an Honorary Certificate; several of his works were collected by Russian art museums;
In September 2017, his works such as "Tianhua Fenggu" were officially published and issued as theme stamps by the "China International Philately Network" to celebrate the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with the theme "Stay True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Marching Forward," and he won the First Prize in the first-ever national "Zhang Zeduan Cup" Painting and Calligraphy Competition. In the same year, he was invited by China Education Television to participate in the recording of "Celebrity Lecture Hall," which was simultaneously broadcast domestically and on Canada's Finance Channel No. 1.
