 Guo Jin, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1949, began studying painting and calligraphy under renowned masters in his teens. He is currently a professional painter of the "Heilongjiang Provincial Institute of Ethnic Painting and Calligraphy" and a member of the "Acheng District Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute of Heilongjiang Province." He specializes in flower-and-bird painting and calligraphy, and his works have been collected by numerous large enterprises, institutions, and individual entrepreneurs. His work "Great Changes in the Mountain Village" was selected for the exhibition "Tremendous Changes, Blossoms and Fruits: Commemorating the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up," featuring poetry, painting, and calligraphy. His work "Lush Mountains and Clear Waters: A New Rural Landscape" won the Silver Award in the "Blooming Artistic Dreams" First Golden Song Cup International Calligraphy, Painting, Photography, and Poetry Art Competition, and was published in the magazine "CiTán." His works have been broadcast multiple times on China Central Television's Sinology Channel. His calligraphy piece was collected by the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Spring Festival Gala 2020 (3rd Edition) and he was honored with the title "Top Ten Calligraphers."
