Guo Yanan

 Guo Yanan, born in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, with the studio name Mo Zhen Zhai, is a painter. Based in Beijing, she specializes in gongbi bird-and-flower painting, studying under renowned bird-and-flower painters Wang Yun, Ding Defa, and Li Xiaoming, and has been fortunate to receive guidance and influence from masters such as Zhan Gengxi, Jiang Hongwei, Jia Guangjian, Mo Xiaosong, and Zhou Zhongyao.

 

       She is currently a member of the Hebei Youth Artists Association, a member of the Beijing Dongcheng District Artists Association, a member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, Vice President of Beijing Moxi Painting Academy, an artist at the Da Beifang Chinese Painting Art Research Institute, an artist at Beijing Hanhe Painting Academy, and an artist at the Lu Xibei Gongbi Painting Research Institute.

 

       In December 2019, "Flower Fragrance Brings Butterflies Naturally" was published in China Calligraphy and Painting Daily;

       In March 2020, "Lotus Emerging from Water" was exhibited in the "Ink and Color Expressing Love" COVID-19 Charity Auction hosted by the Art Committee of the China Cultural Management Association;

       In July 2020, "Pomegranate Branch with Yellow Birds" was published in Huzhou Evening News;

       In October 2020, "Whispered Secrets" was published in China Merchant Magazine;

       In January 2021, "Spring Breeze," "Vibrant Blossoms," "Two Ducks on a Winter Pond," "Dusk," "Red Amaranth with White Geese," "Searching," "Lotus and Birds," and "Bamboo and Cranes" were published in Community Horizon Magazine;

       In February 2021, "Two Magpies Bring Joy" was selected for the "Celebrating the New Year: Joint Exhibition of Outstanding Artists" in Qinhuangdao;

       In February 2021, "Harmony · Strolling in the Courtyard" and "Autumn Water Gently Flowing" were selected for the Hebei Artists Association exhibition "Celebrating the Winter Olympics and the New Year — Artworks Exhibition";

       In March 2021, "Reflections in Water," "Splendor Among Flowers," and "Lotus and Birds" were selected for the Hebei Youth Artists Association's "March 8 Women’s Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition";

       In May 2021, "Elegant Room with Orchid Fragrance," "Spring Stillness with Gentle Morning Breeze," and "Summer Trees Dense with Deep Green Shade" were selected for the Hebei Youth Artists Association's "Second Youth Art Exhibition."
