Zhu Jianguang, male, born in 1965 in Xianghe, Hebei Province, China, with the studio name Baopu Studio. Member of the China Calligraphers Association, member of the Hebei Calligraphers Association, council member of the Langfang City Calligraphers Association, and vice chairman of the Xianghe Calligraphers Association. Council member of the Beijing Dazetang Painting and Calligraphy Academy, vice president of the Huaxia Hexiang Painting and Calligraphy Academy, council member of the China Yahe Famous Artists Painting and Calligraphy Academy, member of the China Great Wall Painters and Calligraphers Association, and member of the Art Committee of the China Public Relations Association.
 
He has a deep passion for calligraphy and painting, having received early family instruction and devoted nearly 30 years to diligent study. He has extensively studied the works of ancient masters such as Zhong Yao, Cai Yong, Lu Ji, Qin bamboo slips, the Han Dynasty Zhang Qian Stele, the Two Wangs of the Jin Dynasty, Zhi Yong of the Sui Dynasty, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, Ouyang Xun, Chu Suiliang, Zhang Xu, and Huaisu of the Tang Dynasty, as well as Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, Mi Fu, and Cai Xiang of the Song Dynasty, and Wang Duo, Xu Wei, Wang Hui of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and Wu Changshuo and Qi Baishi of the modern era. He has also extensively studied renowned steles, calligraphic rubbings, paintings, and cliff inscriptions. He constantly strives to internalize and emulate their subtle transformations. His calligraphy features robust, unadorned brushstrokes, structurally ingenious compositions, and well-constructed layouts; his paintings employ simple, unpretentious lines, emphasizing artistic intent and preserving an ancient aesthetic. His works return to simplicity and authenticity, expressing a love for nature, spontaneous beauty, drawing inspiration from nature while embodying inner inspiration.
 
Exhibition and award achievements in recent years:
 
In 1998, his work was selected for the Hebei Province Calligraphy Exhibition commemorating Hong Kong's return;
In 2006 and 2007, he won second prize consecutively in the Hebei Education System Calligraphy Competition;
In 2008, his work was selected for the Spring Festival Lotus Cup Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition and was acquired by a collector;
In 2009, his seal carving work was exhibited and included in the Langfang City "Integrity Cup" Painting and Calligraphy Collection;
In 2012, his work was selected for the Langfang City "Electricity Cup" Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition;
In September 2016, his calligraphy work won the Silver Award at the 16th National Lushan Cup Painting and Calligraphy Competition;
In July 2017, his calligraphy work won the Silver Award at the First National "Belt and Road Cup" Competition;
In 2021, his work was included in the Langfang City "Firefighting Cup" Calligraphy and Painting Competition commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China.
