Nong Zhenhu

Nong Zhenhu, born in 1974 in Nanning, Guangxi, studied at Guangxi Arts College. Since 1995, he has been a disciple of Xie Tiancheng and has furthered his studies in the Advanced Research Class of Guo Shifu at the China National Academy of Painting, the Advanced Research Class on Art Theory and Painting/Creativity organized by Tsinghua University Academy of Art under Wang Qiyin’s New Ink Painting Specialized Research Program, and the Thematic Bird-and-Flower Painting Class led by Li Zhixiang at Tsinghua University Academy of Art. He is currently Vice Secretary-General of the China New Ink Painting and Calligraphy Research Association, a member of the Guo Shifu Painters’ Association, and a member of the Guangxi Branch of the China Artists Association.
