 Qin Xiaofeng, known as Yuren of Longshan, was born in 1984 in Tianshui City, Gansu Province, a hometown of calligraphy and painting. Influenced since childhood by family tradition and teachers, he began studying calligraphy art and later studied calligraphy at the Fine Arts Department of Lanzhou University. He follows the style of Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi, specializing in running script and small regular script, and consistently practices renowned steles and rubbings such as "Huairen's Collection of the Sacred Edict of the Great Tang Tripitaka," "Lantingji Xu," "Shiqi Tie," "Shu Pu by Sun Guoting," "Tiaoxi Shi Tie," "Zixu Tie," and "Huangzhou Hanshi Shi Tie." His style is elegant and free-spirited. He is currently a member of the Tianshui City Calligraphers Association in Gansu Province and Deputy Director of the Yiren Hall Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. He has been rated among the Top 100 Young Calligraphers in China by "Calligraphy Magazine." His works are widely collected by enterprises and individuals both domestically and internationally.
