Li Sheng, male, born in 1970, is a resident of Lichuan She, Lichuan Village, Xigongyi Town, Anding District, Dingxi City, Gansu Province. Pen name: Changji; Art name: Master of Sanbao Studio; graduated from junior high school. In 1987, he attended a calligraphy class in Urumqi, Xinjiang, where he initially studied seal and clerical scripts under the guidance of Mr. Shen Xilan (former chairman of the city calligraphy association). Thereafter, he continued self-study by copying classical calligraphy models, exploring regular, running, clerical, and seal scripts, with particular proficiency in running and regular scripts.
In 2011, he received the Third Prize in the "First Farmers' Calligraphy Exhibition" hosted by the Fourth Gansu Huining Red Tourism Festival.
In July 2015, he joined the Dingxi City Calligraphers Association.
In 2016, he won the Excellent Award in the "First National Calligraphy Art Competition Final Round".
In 2018, he received the Outstanding Work Award in the First "Calligraphy Impression" National Hard-Pen Calligraphy Competition.
In September 2020, he won the Excellent Award in the global hand-copied sutra collection event "Human Dunhuang, World Treasure," hosted by the Dunhuang Zhengjue Sutra Copying Academy to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the discovery of the Dunhuang Cave Library.
Over the past decade, he has written numerous couplets, elegiac couplets, central scrolls, four-panel screens, and horizontal banners for local residents. He has also composed ritual texts for weddings, funerals, and other folk cultural activities, actively participating in local folk customs and traditions.
