Personal Profile
Du Sanqiu, male, born in 1969. Native place: Lin洮, Dingxi, Gansu Province. Currently resides in Xi'an. Graduated from 《Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts》. Studied under Master Wang Zhiping of 《Shaanxi Academy of Painting》. Currently employed at 《Shaanxi Provincial Library》.
In 1998, the work 《Classmate Hou》 was published on the back cover of 《Xiangshi》 journal. In June 2011, the ink painting work 《Concern for People's Livelihood》 won the "Excellent Award" in the National Painting and Calligraphy Art Competition 《Celebrating the Founding of the Party ~ Welcoming the World Horticultural Exposition》. In December 2014, detailed interviews were conducted by 《Xi'an Evening News》, 《Huashang Daily》, 《Sanqin Metropolitan Daily》, and 《Urban Express》. In April 2015, the ink painting work 《颠》 was published in Issue 79 of 《Daxingshan Temple》, Xi'an. In May 2018, he studied for one year in the first batch of painting and calligraphy training classes organized by 《Shaanxi Academy of Painting》. He performed outstandingly and was granted graduation. In September 2019, the ink painting work 《Utterly Pure》 won the "First Prize" in the "Art Crossing Xiadu ~ Ink Wash Qinghai" painting and calligraphy competition organized by the Committee. In July 2020, during the pandemic, a solo painting and calligraphy exhibition titled 《Du Sanqiu Solo Exhibition》 was successfully held at 《Shaanxi Provincial Library》, and he was extensively interviewed by CCTV Channel 3 (Art & Entertainment Program) and the栏目 《Culture Today》! In December 2020, 《Shaanxi Provincial Library》 successfully hosted the event 《Sanqin Splendor》 ~ an invitation exhibition for members of the Shaanxi Public Library Alliance, featuring calligraphy, ink painting, and photography!!!para-title
