Chen Shunqiang

 Chen Shunqiang, born in March 1975 in Licheng, Xianyou County, Putian City, Fujian Province, graduated from the Advanced Research Class of Xiamen Academy of Fine Arts in 1997. With nearly 30 years of experience in oil painting, he currently serves as Vice President of the Fujian Oil Painting Association and is a First-Class Artist in Fujian Province.

 

Artistic Journey:

2002: Selected as an Outstanding Young Art Talent of Putian City.

2005: Began his career in art creation. (2007) Oil painting work "Homesickness" was selected for the 12th Fujian Provincial Exhibition of New Artists and New Works.

2008: Oil painting work "Smell" was selected for the 2nd National Youth Oil Painting Exhibition.

2010: Oil painting work "The Season of Blooming Flowers" was selected for the 12th Fujian Provincial Excellent New Artists Exhibition.

2015: Oil painting work "Dòukòu Years" was selected for the Beijing Youth Excellent Exhibition.

 

      Has participated in multiple exhibitions in Taiwan and other Asian countries... Currently serves as a Council Advisor of the Putian City Artists Association, Art Consultant of the Xianyou Oil Painting Association, and a prominent young contemporary artist from Fujian. Specializes in realistic figures, classical figures, animals, classical landscapes, and academic-style architecture painting.
