      Guo Shaojun, born in 1954, graduated from Hengyang Medical College in 1983.
      Art teacher in the calligraphy and painting team of Xiamen Hongshan Academy.
      Shanghai Mingyuan Art Museum Art Consultant.
      Painting focus: Ink animals, ink ballet, ink Buddhist figures.
      Began studying ink flower-and-bird painting in childhood.
      During youth, studied ink figure painting under Mr. Zhong Zengya (Chairman of the Hunan Provincial Artists Association).
      Since the 1990s, has primarily focused on expressive ink animal painting, ink ballet, and ink classical figure painting.
 
      Representative works include:
      Ink Buddhist figures (Hongyi Master and Xingyuan Master), collected by the Buddhist Association of the Philippines in 2012;
      Ink ballet (The Melody of Youth), collected by the China Rural Art Association in 2011;
      Ink classical figure painting (Laozi Leaving the Pass), collected by the China Cultural Industry Association in 2012;
      Ink animal painting (Mother and Offspring), collected by the head of the Canadian Chinese Fisha Cultural Organization in 2016;
      Large-scale ink Buddhist figure painting (Damo Crossing the River on a Reed), collected by Xiamen Hongshan Temple in 2017;
      Ink ballet (Cloud), collected by Shanghai Mingyuan Art Museum in 2017;
      Ink animal paintings (Cat and Chicks) and (Fighting Roosters), collected by Shanghai Mingyuan Art Museum.
