Personal Profile
Song Yuanpeng, a member of the Communist Party of China, holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts and has graduated successively from Zaozhuang University, Qufu Normal University, and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is an associate member of the China Artists Association and the China Calligraphers Association, a member of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a painting and calligraphy committee member of the Tian Han Research Society under the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Shandong Provincial Calligraphers Association member, Director of the Lunan Center for Ministry of Education Calligraphy and Painting Grading, Dean of the Luban Art Design Institute, among other positions.
His calligraphy and painting works have won over 60 awards in exhibitions hosted by organizations such as the China Artists Association, the China Calligraphers Association, and the Ministry of Culture. He has published more than 20 academic papers and authored or co-authored 25 books and textbooks; over one hundred of his works are collected by institutions including the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, the National Museum of Chinese History, the Fujian Provincial Artists Association, the Shandong Provincial Civilization Office, the British Royal Family, as well as collectors at home and abroad; more than 300 works have been published in periodicals and magazines such as "Fine Arts", "China Education Daily", and "Design"; he has represented the calligraphy and painting community on multiple visits to countries and regions including South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, and Macao; over one hundred of his works are collected by institutions including the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Zhang Hai Calligraphy Art Museum, Zhonglubo Memorial Hall of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee, the National Museum of Chinese History, the Fujian Provincial Artists Association, the Jiangxi Provincial Calligraphers Association, Hefei University of Technology, the Shandong Provincial Civilization Office, and private collectors; he has been awarded the title of "Artist with Love" by the China Concerned Generations Working Committee and the title of "Calligraphy and Painting Ambassador of Love" by the China Charity Federation and China Elderly News Agency.
