Personal Profile

Chi Jianying, pen name Da Cheng, was born in 1977 in Baisheng Village, Xiaowo Town, Lianjiang County, Fujian Province. From a young age, he had a deep passion for fine arts and painting, particularly influenced by traditional Chinese painting. He began self-studying and practicing from scratch, focusing on flowers and birds, landscapes, and figures, with a special expertise in painting peonies. Known as the "Peony King" by his mentors and close friends, his work has also earned high recognition from senior artists in the field. In 2012, he applied and became a member of the Lianjiang County Artists Association. He has been invited multiple times to participate in exhibitions and has won several awards. He actively participates in public welfare activities and charitable initiatives. His works are now highly favored by social and business circles and are actively collected.
