Xu GenShui, National First-Class Calligrapher. Currently Vice Chairman of the China Arts and Crafts Association, Expert Group Member of the China History Museum, Expert Group Member of UNESCO, Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Council Member of the China Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association, Member of the International Federation of Artists, 2014 China-UK Cultural Exchange Ambassador, Honorary Doctor of the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts, Hong Kong Institute of Arts and Crafts Academician, Visiting Professor at the Guilin National Calligraphy and Painting College, Senior Academician of the New Shen Zhou Art Institute in Singapore, Council Member of the China Society for Future Studies, Fujian Provincial Education Society Member. His works have passed the Ministry of Culture ISC2000 Art Quality Certification. Participated in international exchange exhibitions and won the "Gold Award"; received the "Silver Award" in the World Chinese Art Grand Prix. His works are widely collected both domestically and internationally, and many have been engraved on stone monuments. He has been awarded the titles of "China Century Expert," "Sino-Foreign Calligraphy and Painting Art Celebrity," and "Contemporary Chinese Master of Calligraphy and Painting." His works have been selected for professional publications such as "Century Classic – Complete Collection of Chinese Calligraphy," "Collection of Famous Works by Calligraphers of the People's Republic of China," "Selection of Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters' Ink Traces," and "Collection of Works by Calligraphers and Painters in China’s Education Sector." His biography is included in multiple major reference works such as "Chinese Experts Dictionary," "Dictionary of Famous Calligraphers and Painters Across the Taiwan Strait," "Great Dictionary of Chinese Hard-Pen Calligraphy Elites," and "World Catalogue of Calligraphers and Painters." His achievements are recorded in "World Outstanding Talent Dictionary." Currently serving as President of the Strait Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute and Vice President of the National CPPCC Painting Academy.
